Fantastic Lights and music. Back in the 1950’s living next door to Ron Mattson, on McKee Street,I never would have guessed I would be visiting his son’s light show 50+ years later. Linda sent me the site info to look up, what a good aunt you have!
Thank you for the wonderful Christmas spirit.

I saw a movie called “Deck the Halls” with Danny DeVito as the King of Christmas. He was having a war with his neighbour about who could put the most lights up. What’s your neighbour doing?
Pretty impressive display and nice job on the website.

Most excellent. I wish I could see it live. A friend sent me this from Vancouver and I thought you’d like to know you have now gone on tour in Mexico. All the best of the holidays and keep the spirit alive.
We just came home after visiting your beautiful house and it was the highlight of our Christmas season so far! What an amazing job you have done. My five year old daughter LOVED it and said to me “I know why this man does this. He wants to make people like us feel happy”. This will definitely be a new Christmas tradition for our family. Thank you!

We were there today (Dec 16th) with our 1-year old son and we really loved it. Thank you for putting the time and effort to doing this for such a good cause. It’s heart warming.
My husband heard about your house at his work in Surrey so it seems like people are talking about your work all over metro Vancouver.
I will put your website on my facebook profile so other people can see the videos and hopefully go by and see it for real because the videos don’t do justice.
I love the music and what a display. The best display I have ever seen and I commend you on your hard work. Some displays have more lights but this beats them all hands down. Well done and keep up the good work. Merry Xmas and Happy New year.

and family must be very proud of you! You must enjoy doing this as you
put so much time and effort into it and thankfully let all of us get to appreciate your talents!
Comment by Linda Earle — December 30, 2009 @ 5:38 pm
Now what you need to do is put all videos of the lightshow on a DVD and sell them so that everyone can enjoy the festivity in their homes throughout the season! Food for thought for 2010.
My kids (age 5, 3 1/2, and 20 months) and I saw your display Monday night (Dec 28th) and they absolutely loved it! They spend 15 minutes dancing up a storm on your sidewalk and lawn - but your wonderful display has ruined them for others, they ask where everyone else’s music is! LOL. I hope the lights are still on this weekend, they want to come back with Dad.
And as someone who also lost a grandfather to cancer, I thank you for your efforts to collect donations. What a fitting tribute.
